Extremely flat recessed and surface mounted MÜNCHEN luminaires for T5 and T8 lamps. Fibreglass reinforced double chamber profile made of polymer, colour similar to RAL 9010. Protection type IP65, protection class II. Lamp diffuser based on the principles of the NORKA tube reflectors with internal mirror reflector made of MIRO-SILVER® offering wide beam, asymmetric beam and concentrated beam lighting characteristics. The recessed and surface mounted MÜNCHEN luminaires are suitable for both individual and continuous row mounting with through wiring up to 4 x 2.5mm². Depending on their usage, the different lamp diffusers can deliver homogenous light distribution and the required level of glare reduction for workstations using monitors. In spite of the extremely flat construction, the housing offers enough room for the integration of the most diverse range of additional elements such as emergency illumination modules. The proven NORKA plug socket system in the MÜNCHEN luminaires makes it possible to change up to four lamps within a continuous row system from one position. The luminaires are delivered ready for connection. Ceiling installation takes place using easy-assembly split washers. Installation with ceiling mounting frame or panel suspensions possible. Options: 1-10V ECG, DALI-ECG, Multi-wattage-ECG, N-ECG and Industry ECG.

| XENA Lighting Technology |

XENA – eXtended ENcapsulated Aspheric The total efficiency of a luminaire is influenced to a large extent by the quality of the reflector tube technology. The more precisely the corresponding light control works, the more efficiently the lumen package can be installed. This is equally true for luminaires based on traditional fluorescent lamps or those with LED lamps. The development of these lighting technologies has always been one of the core areas of expertise at NORKA. Patented reflector tube systems have been rigorously refined and further developed for years. The experience gained in the process is now been utilised for the development of a new optical system for LED luminaires: XENA lighting technology. XENA lighting technology describes a closed system consisting of functional optics specifically designed for this purpose and additional combinable prismatic covers. As can also be seen in the tried-and-tested principles for reflector tubes, all optically-relevant components are completely encapsulated in a water and dust resistant IP65 luminaire housing. Lighting control is achieved through two different elements, which enables the technology to be used in a uniquely diverse range of technical lighting applications in the area of professional lighting design for both indoor and outdoor environments. The primary optic including the functional lens is mounted immediately in front of the LED array or LED strip. The interchangeable XENA functional optics for the TALON or POLLUX LED spotlights make it possible to create lighting characteristics such as narrow beam, concentrated beam or wide beam. The beam angles of the pre-mounted Fresnel lens in the TALON LINEAR luminaires vary between 6-60°. In addition, combinable prismatic covers distribute the light in an asymmetrical, rotationally symmetrical or linear way - ensuring further glare reduction at this second level. XENA lighting technology represents the logical further development of the type of lighting technology for which NORKA has always stood: intelligently directed light with reliable protection against dirt, dust and moisture.
